Maritza Chan
Ambassador Chan is a Costa Rican career diplomat with more than two decades of professional experience at the highest political levels. She has spent most of her career representing Costa Rica at multilateral organizations both in Washington D.C, and New York. She is an expert in international peace and security matters, and a champion of the Women, Peace and Security agenda and feminist activist. Ambassador Chan has vast connections within international and regional organizations as well as with civil society.
