The day-long conference will include workshops, panel events, policy discussions, and opportunities for intergenerational dialogue. In the run-up to the event, Youth for TPNW have put together a series of workshops and panels for youth delegates, allowing them to gain experience in policy, campaigning, diplomacy, and advocacy, as well as experience a rare and valuable insight into UN procedures. We will also be putting together advocacy actions and a short policy paper outlining youth needs for the TPNW. The event is taking place in Vienna with the option for online participation.
This event is organised by Youth for TPNW and partners. Youth for TPNW is an international youth movement advocating for the full implementation of the TPNW. We came together because of a collective desire to make space for dynamic youth voices in the worlds of peace activism, international relations, and nuclear disarmament, and because we wanted to create a platform to support each other’s work and activism across the international stage.
