Iku Nakamura
Born in Tokyo, Iku had an opportunity to study in US during high school. Together with the students there, she started a project called "Our History Textbook Project" to create a history textbook to include both perspectives of the Americans and Japanese on the WWII. After completing the textbook, Iku also taught some lessons with it. In 2021, she moved to the UK to attend King's College London. Currently as an international member of the KNOW NUKES TOKYO, Iku plans its actions overseas and works to build bridges between Japan and other countries on the issues of nuclear weapons.
