Kasha Sequoia Slavner

Kasha Sequoia Slavner, is a GenZ multi-award winning documentary filmmaker who comes to the profession as a seasoned photographer, entrepreneur and social justice advocate for over a decade. Using her passion for visual storytelling to make the world a better place she is also one of the young Leaders for Tomorrow with UN Youth For Disarmament. At 23 years old, Kasha Sequoia Slavner is the founder of The Global Sunrise Project, a social impact multimedia storytelling hub and Director/Screenwriter/Cinematographer of The Sunrise Storyteller, which screened internationally at 60 film festivals, garnering 30 awards. Currently, she is in production with 1.5 Degrees of Peace.
