Hibakusha (atomic bomb survivors) have travelled around the world giving personal testimonies about the effects of the atomic bombs and calling for nuclear abolition. Hibakusha’s testimonials have the potential to deeply move people from all over the world and to draw attention to the catastrophic humanitarian consequences these weapons cause, and therefore played a significant role in realising the nuclear weapons ban treaty.
This is a unique opportunity to meet survivors from the use of nuclear weapons and hear their stories first-hand.
Join Ms. Tadako Kawazoe and others in this session.
