I am Mia Haseldine, from Ceduna, South Australia. I am a Kokatha woman, a mum, a hard worker and a lover of our country.
I have been a part of the Australian Nuclear Free Alliance since a small girl, listening and learning from my elders and friends. I would attend meetings with my grandma and I became a proxy for vice chairperson for the Ceduna/Kokatha/SA region in 2018. My love for the land means I have a strong passion in nurturing and protecting the country. I see nuclear as poison and I believe it should be left buried underground not mined and definitely not made into weapons.
