Tommy Piemonte is the Head of Sustainable Investment Research with the Catholic Church bank Bank für Kirche und Caritas (BKC) in Paderborn. He is mainly responsible for the further development and monitoring of the ethically-sustainable investment strategy of the bank and its clients.He is also responsible for the associated engagement activities, i.e. the active exertion of influence on companies, states or other investment objects with regard to their sustainability efforts. In this context, he is also the Bank's representative and a founding member of the European engagement network of institutional investors Shareholders for Change. Prior to joining BKC, Tommy was Head of the sustainability rating agency at imug in Hanover, research partner of VigeoEiris. The graduate economist supplemented his experience in sustainability research with many years of experience in the financial market.
