Through an interactive discussion with experts, participants will learn about the gender provisions of the Treaty on Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and explore the links between the disproportionate impact of nuclear weapons and structural gender-based violence, particularly when nuclear weapons and the use of force are seen as adding to our security. Speakers will share their own experiences in this area and offer relevant suggestions for future advocacy.
